- In 1990,
Segrelles considered to put in the slow
oil-painting work of THE MERCENARY with a
more agile and free project. He then
resorted to one of his hobbies, the funny
comic cartoon in ink, and so a new
character was born. SHERIFF PAT is a
blustering and fearful little fellow who
receives only misfortune. His assistant,
despite his good intentions, does not
help the situation by repeatedly making a
blunder.

- Following a classical
style, SHERIFF PAT is still a different
comic series. One can feel that Segrelles
enjoys giving details on weapons,
including characters from cinema or just
adding kind of soul to the characters.
