One of more interesting elements in the
illustrator's work is finding the most suggestive way to approach a subject.
I have always liked the mystery topics, and so this order delighted me from
the beginning. |

In this cover I took special care with
lights and perspective. The anecdote is that for the kidnapped figure I
used myself as a model.

Work under commission for a magazine,
illustrating a real fact and painted with Indian inks and gouache. I tried
to imagine the tremendous crushing blow between both tankers, with masses
of four hundred thousand tons, that dragged and cracked the other ship. |

Illustration made with Indian inks for
the book entitled "Universal history of weapons" that I also wrote. A bit
of gouache was applied in the flesh of the Mata-Hari figure, so that the
dryness of scraping looked softened. |
